QAYG QAL Log Cabin Blocks in Flower Sugar - Week 2

I'm loving working with Flower Sugar, fabric I have hoarded for awhile!  Week 2 progress is complete - only one day late!  Yeah!  I was behind schedule and needed to complete 10 blocks this week instead of the scheduled five.
The batting is 13.5" square, but the strips were wonky by the third round so I squared them up to 12".  They are still wonky which is not my preference, but I'm thinking that is the way of this QAYG thing.
And did you notice my goofy math figuring in the previous post?  I must have done the strip width calculations in my sleep because they were totally wrong.  How does one use a 5" center block and then add 3.5" strips and get anywhere close to 13.5"???  One doesn't!!  OOPS!  I ended up cutting the 3.5" strips in half to 1.75" to get close to 13.5" so it was completely fixable.

You can read about this quilt-along here.  Jera, the author of Quilt-As-You-Go Made Modern is hosting the quilt-along using her new book.
