Sweet Flower Sugar Quilted Pillow

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Back in October, Jera at Quilting in the Rain hosted a Quilt-As-You-Go QAL, and I loved the idea so I jumped in and began making blocks with my super yummy Flower Sugar stash.  After I finished 10 blocks, I set the project aside and decided that someday I would make them into pillow covers rather than continuing on to make an entire quilt.  I'm not too sure about the QAYG process. I love the idea but not so much the doing.  And that's okay.  We can be different and still be friends, can't we?

Ta-da!  I have completed the first pillow cover!

... simply sweet ... adorable ... precious ...

Pillow Stats:
  • Fabric:  Flower Sugar by Lecien
  • Pattern:  QAYG Log Cabin, pattern found in Quilt-As-You-Go Made Modern
  • Size:  12" square, itty bitty squeaziness
  • Batting:  Cotton
  • Backing:  Envelope backing with binding on the opening edges.
  • Value:  Sweeter than sweet!

I'm not sure about the QAYG process either. So we can be friends.

Your pillow is gorgeous. I've got some Flower Sugar scraps I need to bust out and use. Thanks for the inspiration!
