Rainbow Streak Baby Quilt {My Blogger's Quilt Festival Entry!}

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Meet Rainbow Streak!  She's made from the leftover HSTs from the Rainbow Star Baby quilt!

Rainbow Streak is sparkling rainbow quilt that is quick and easy to piece.

I have written the pattern for Rainbow Streak and added it to the Rainbow Star quilt pattern - it's two patterns in one!  The pattern is available on Craftsy!  Here's the cover picture - I ♥ the sky!

Just had to show more of that backing - I ♥ it!

Craftsy is a great place to stock up on Kona solids, and there is a great Memorial Weekend sale going on at Craftsy right now!

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:  Rainbow Streak, an original by Busy Hands Quilts, inspired by Shannon of The Flemings Nine
Size:  40" square
Fabric:  17 different Kona solids
Batting:  Hobbs 80/20 cotton poly
Backing:  Multi colored paint boxes
Quilting:  Allover medium meandering stitch in gray thread on Mrs.Bernina, my old 830 which was my grandmother's
Binding:  Double fold with mitered corners, attached by machine
Value:  A flash of fun!

Here's a peek at the binding process.  I'm using Clover Wonder Clips for the first time!  I found them at a better-than-JoAnn's price!

How pretty! All HST's?! How convenient since those are easy and fun to make--specially when you're playing with such pretty Kona's. Love it!

Myra, I see a prism here with sunlight streaking through it, and scattering the light into all the colors of the spectrum. That's what you intended, right? Definitely the home school mom shining through!

It's a simply beautiful design, and I'm so glad you linked up on Pink Doxies with me.
