Queen Size Plus Quilt | Finished or Not Friday Linky Party

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My Finish is a queen size Plus quilt in grays and browns with a pop of brick red!  This is the first Plus quilt I've ever made.  I wrote the pattern Love Multiplied which is a Plus quilt set on point, but I had never made a traditional Plus quilt.

Some friends chose brown and gray as the colors for their wedding quilt and mentioned that their home also has an accent of brick red.  The brick red plus and binding create just the pop I was hoping they would.

The quilt came to life with the Maze quilting which took it from bland to ah-ha!

My new woven labels!

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:   Giant Plus quilt.
Size:  Queen 90" square.
Fabric:  Boundless Solids Earl Gray FQs and Mocha Madness FQs + a Kona red
Quilting:  Maze on Gratitude.
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly
Backing:  Robert Kaufman Spot On Metro Tan extra wide

Your plus quilt is beautiful! That touch of red just brings the quilt to life.

Looks great! I've noticed that quilting adds the texture to a solid quilt and takes it to the next level, from plain to wow!
