Meet Card Trick - My First Pattern Designed for Craftsy!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Introducing Card Trick - some of my secret sauce quilt designing from last November!  The quilt kit is now live at Craftsy!

Card Trick is designed to make great use of a layer cake for all of the blocks and the outer pieced border, adding in background fabric and one border fabric.  This design should be showing up in other fabric collections at Craftsy in the future.  This quilt was made by a Craftsy quilter, not by me.

You likely know that there is a lot of preplanning that goes into fabric collections and corresponding quilt kits before they are officially launched to the public.  Card Trick was submitted to Craftsy over eight months ago using a different fabric collection called Cute as a Blossom, but earlier this year Card Trick got moved to another fabric collection called Witch Craft.  Here is Card Trick in Cute as a Blossom.  Cute, huh!?!

And here is Around the Block, a beautiful quilt kit made from Cute as a Blossom.  Fantastic, right!?!

If any of you are interested in participating in a Card Trick Witch Craft Quilt Along, let me know!  I could host one later this summer so you have it ready to go by October.  The pattern isn't available separately from the quilt kit, unfortunately, so the only way to get it is to purchase the kit.  I sold all rights to the pattern to Craftsy, so I am unable to sell copies of it in my pattern shop.

I love your version much better. It's too bad that they had to use it with a fabric line like that. Not everyone wants to celebrate that holiday.

Hi Myra, It was very interesting learning how you go about submitting a kit for Craftsy. Thanks for sharing. I would be interested in learning more.
