Not Precarious Baby Quilt | Finished or Not Friday Linky Party!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My Finish is a Not Precarious baby quilt in 90 Kona Cotton solids!  This quilt is made from the second set of strip bargello panels which I made for the Stash Statement Book Hop by Kelly of My Quilt Infatuation.  You can read about the Precarious quilt I made with the first set of panels over here.

This quilt, Not Precarious, is a play on words - the first quilt was stacked precariously, and this one the colors are hung securely, not precariously!

I'm working to get some WIPs off the shelf, and this quilt jumped to the top of the list because it was such an easy finish with the panels already sewn together.  I had already measured and written down how much needed added to each panel to bring it to baby size, so it was definitely a quick finish.

Quilt Stats:
Pattern:  Not Precarious
Size:  41" x 40", baby size
Fabric:  Kona Cotton
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly
Quilting:  Rolling Along on Gratitude in gray thread
Backing:  Boundless Blender in medium gray.

It's time to stock the shop for Christmas shopping!  This quilt is for sale in my quilt shop!

Last Week's Finished {or Not} Friday Features!

Do you want your quilt featured here?

A link back to Busy Hands Quilts in your post is required to get a shoutout here!  It's a small favor in return for the time and money it takes to host this linky party.

Goodwill by Katy Quilts - I love this picture with the headboard and all!

Be sure to check out the Fall Sale over at Connecting Threads where you'll save up to 70% off Fabric, Kits, and Projects.  Here are some Fat Quarter Bundles that caught my eye because they would look great in and have the right balance of two colors and an accent for my Sunnyside quilt pattern!

These collections are Glory Days, Yuletide, and Captiva.

Batting is also on sale at 30% off!  It's a great time to stock up for your fall and winter sewing.

It's your turn to share your finish {or not}!  What's welcome at this party?

  • Projects from this week only.

Hi Myra! Beautiful finish for today. That quilting design is so pretty as well, and it really highlights all the pretty solid colors. I don't work often enough with solids, and your latest finishes certainly inspire me to do so. Happy Friday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne
