Adeline - a New Quilt Pattern in 4 Sizes + Quilty Sales!

Meet Adeline, a new star quilt pattern in 4 sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King!

Adeline is a big block quilt with several designs created when the blocks are joined together.

Don'tcha love the floral fabric?  Oh my, it makes my heart sing, and I had to have it when I first saw it.  It's Country Fair from Connecting Threads.  All fabrics except one in this quilt are from the collection, and all are from CT.

While you don't see Flying Geese in very many of my quilt patterns, this one called for them in order to keep the floral pieces as large as possible.  I didn't want to cut that beautiful fabric too small!

This is one of the more complex-to-write patterns I've written, and I don't mean complex to sew up; that part was straightforward.  I mean the actual writing of the pattern was complex because I wanted the instructions to be broken down into as many steps as necessary so it would be easy for you to understand.  The pattern had a definite transformation from its first draft to the final copy, and I'm quite tickled with it.  I hope you will be too!  :)

Adeline is a yardage-friendly quilt pattern.  In the Quilt Stats section on the back of the pattern, I have included a graphic that shows exactly where the fabrics are placed in the quilt top to help you with fabric selection so you can make the quilt with fabrics that represent your own style.

Below is Adeline in the Queen size in a upcoming fabric collection.  I love how sweet this quilt is!

Here are some quilty sales for you!

  • Bluprint is open for free!  View all video classes for free until April 16th right here.  I've been watching quilty classes and learning new-to-me techniques which are usually too complex to learn from a single pattern.  Did you know that Bluprint instructors are paid by the number of minutes their classes are viewed?  You can support quilt designers by watching their classes or just have it running on autopilot, like while you make dinner. :)
  • CT Publishing is having a Spring Fling Sale with up to 85% off quilt books, many are well known books.  Click here to save.
  • At Connecting Threads you will save 15% off your entire order with code CUDDLEUP.  This includes quilt kits in my patterns which you can view all in one place right here.  Don't forget the code!
  • If you need to stock up on solids, now is the time!  You'll save 20% on Confetti Cottons at Fat Quarter Shop.  Click here to go right to the collection.

I have to agree with you. The improvements you did to the directions were great! The red/blue is not my favorite combo, but I adore the all blue one.
