Picket Fence Quilt by Deanna

Today I'm sharing a Picket Fence quilt made by Deanna for her daughter for Christmas.  She placed the blocks both horizontally and vertically, which is the original Picket Fence layout.  The updated pattern now includes a layout option with all blocks placed vertically for a different look. It is so pretty with the mix of teals, yellows, and browns!

The Picket Fence quilt pattern includes 7 sizes - Baby, Square and Rectangular Throws, Twin, Square and Rectangular Queens, and King.  The pattern is layer cake friendly for smaller sizes and layer cake and jelly roll friendly for the larger sizes.  It's super easy to use scraps too; just cut the number of each piece size indicated in the pattern.

Picket Fence is a strip pieced quilt - you won't be sewing together individual squares and will save a lot of time strip piecing!
