A Skirt For Mama

Recently I sewed myself this A-line skirt.  I'm quite tickled with it.  I used a black batik fabric I had in my stash and enhanced it with black grosgrain ribbon down the front and back.  The ribbon really added pizzazz.  This was the second invisible zipper I have put in, and they really aren't too difficult to do at all!  This skirt has a yoke  that is not on the bias, so it doesn't take as much fabric as other patterns I have used.  You can find the pattern at Marie Madeline Studio, and it is 50% off today!
