Disappearing Nine-Patch In Progress

Here is a peek at what's on my design wall today.  I have long wanted to make a disappearing nine-patch quilt and had a chance to begin one last week.  I chose large 7" fabric squares to make a large quilt rather quickly, so each block measures about 20" when finished.  When sewn side by side, the blocks looked like a jumbled mess, so I added the white sashing.  I plan to add pink or turquoise ric rac down the middle of all of the white sashing {color to be determined by what matches}.  She will be twin sized when finished, hopefully resting on Mrs.Singer's rails in a few days!
