Another batch of unfinished blocks made into a quilt!
... Perhaps my favorite block of all ... the log cabin ...

Thimbleberries fabrics in rose and blue with a hint of purple, green, and burgundy.

Deep purple backing and binding.

Quilt Stats:
  • Pattern:  Log cabin blocks
  • Size:  24" square
  • Fabric:  Thimbleberries and a few other quilt-shop fabrics such as Kaufman and Connecting Threads
  • Batting:  100% cotton, thin
  • Backing:  Deep purple Thimbleberries
  • Quilting:  Allover small meandering stitch in cream thread done on Mrs.Bernina, my old 830 which was my grandmother's.
  • Binding:  Double fold, deep purple Thimbleberries fabric, attached by machine with 45-degree mitered corners.
  • Value:  Warm-up cozy!

    What a nice job you've done with the Thimbleberries fabrics. I do love their Country look, and the backing and quilting goes perfect with the fabrics. I bet it will do well in your ETSY shop. I will stop by there and FAV it...I see we like and have much of the same things to sell. I have an ETSY shop with fabric you might be interested in as it's some that is now out of production.
