Diamond Rug Inspired Wall Hanging

The Diamond Rug, part of the guest bathroom remodel this summer, is the inspiration for a quilt I'm making for the wall.  The bright white walls are so stark and need a quilt to add sparkle!  This rug is from The Company Store.Triangle Rug Inspiration
My original plan was equilateral 60-degree triangles, but I don't have a template that size, so I went with The Triangler, a 45-degree template by Heather Mulder Peterson. It has markings for many different widths of strips.  I went with 5". After using the template, I can see there would be many uses for it, so I'll probably be using it more regularly now.
These are the colors I have chosen.  I'm so tickled they are all from my precious stash since fabric buying is limited to emergencies only!  Yes, those are stacks of triangles.  No, I didn't arrange them perfectly for the picture.  I'm too busy crafting for that!  The quilt will be around 36" square.
