Pretty in Pink Quilt-Along {Block Assembly}

Twenty blocks complete and partially sewn together!  I am not adding any applique to this quilt as shown in the pattern.  The quilt top is already totally adorable and doesn't need it.  The blocks are made from a Twice as Nice layer cake, so the quilt will finish at baby size.  Please pretend you don't see the trucks facing the wrong way in one of the three truck blocks.  Crazy driver!
Pretty in Pink is found in the book Livin' Large by Heather Mulder Peterson.  It is also available as a mini quilt pattern on her website.  The quilt-along instructions are for a mini quilt with charm packs but I'm using a Twice as Nice by Riley Blake 10" stacker for a baby quilt size.  The stacker had 20 squares, not the 40-42 found in layer cakes.

  1. Ah ha! I wouldn't have noticed the trucks had you not mentioned it! I think only the quilter sees things like that! Your top is cute!
