Picket Fence {A Finish + A Pattern!}

I am super excited to introduce Picket Fence to you!  She is the second in my budding line of quilt patterns!  Picket Fence is a versatile pattern that looks great in many fabric collections!  Sweet pastels or bold, masculine prints are perfect for Picket Fence.  The cover quilt is lap size in PB&J by Basic Grey.

Pattern #BHQ0715002

I made this sweet version of Picket Fence in Spring back in 2012, making it up as I sewed.  This quilt is the reason I named the pattern Picket Fence; it reminded me of a white picket fence on a lovely spring day, thus the name, Picket Fence in Spring.   Recently I was asked about the pattern through my Etsy shop, and I decided it was time to write it!  This is the baby size.

This pattern is layer cake friendly and comes with instructions for six sizes from wall hanging to king!  The pattern includes fabric requirements for using layer cake squares or yardage.  It also includes mock-ups of all sizes in various fabric collections so you can see what each size looks like when finished.

Picket Fence is on sale for an introductory price through July 11th.  You can find it in my Craftsy pattern shop and in my Etsy shop.

  4. Your pattern looks great. I could see it in solids with bright colors and the picket fences in shades of gray and black and maybe some white. :)

  6. Hi! My name is Connie and I'm a quilter. Do we need meeting to balance our lives? LOL. I don't think so . . . after all, we share those quilts with the people we love. One of the things that I like best about quilting, is that even though my granddaughters live far away, I know that I can hug them goodnight with my quilts:)
    Your quilts are beautiful. I am inspired.
    Happy 4th of July.
    Connie :)

    I love how changing the fabrics changes the look. Looks like a fun pattern. (Have to think all kind of ways around blog platform idiosyncrasies!)

    I like your pattern. It's in my cart, but it will sit there until I find something else in a few days to make at least a $10 charge. Thanks for posting this on the linky. It is just my kind of scrappy quilt.

  16. What a neat pattern! I love your Picket Fences, especially the bright colors in the first one. This would be great for a baby quilt project, with "I-Spy" conversational print fabrics.
