Included in the June Stash Builder Box that I won as part of the Hands2Help Charity Quilt Challenge over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict were three coordinating yards of Folkwood by Dear Stella.
As soon as I saw the fabrics, I knew they were destined to be a Disappearing Nine Patch quilt, because the prints were the perfect variation in color and design size, and because I had zero fabrics in the stash to coordinate with them. I'd been wanting to make a D9 quilt, so it was a win-win for the fabric and for me - it got used, and I got to make a D9!
I figured out how to place the fabrics so the bunnies all ended up facing the same direction after they were turned (on the second and remaining blocks anyway)! {{Pats self on back!!}}
Quilting is a starburst flower design, done on Gratitude. Oh wait, I did have this backing fabric that coordinated, and the leftover scraps were put to good use in the backing.
Such yumilicious binding! And can you believe that Blogger thinks that's a word?!? Ha Ha!
This is the seventh use of my new Handmade labels from Ikaprint!
