Simplicity Throw Quilt!

This week I finished a Simplicity quilt in Throw size, a super happy HST quilt in a variety of fabric collections.  This quilt pattern includes 5 sizes - Baby, Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.  The HSTs are larger in the larger size quilts so they go together quicker.  I've done all the math for you, so you can grab your fabrics (even scraps!) and go!

I've had this extra-wide backing in my stash for quite some time, and now and again the perfect quilt comes along to match just right.  :)

And striped binding?  Yes, please!  Stripes make my favorite bindings.

Quilt Stats:
Pattern:  Simplicity, available right here or below.
Size:  52" x 68", Throw
Fabric:  A variety of collections, including Bonnie and Camille, Sherri and Chelsea and others.
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom 80 20 cotton poly
Backing:  Robert Kaufman Spot On in Creamsicle
Quilting:  Allover feathers on Gratitude, my Handi Quilter Fusion with ProStitcher

  3. Hi Myra! Oh, what a beautiful finish for the finish Friday. Was this made using scraps - if so, you sure have a great selection of scraps. And that backing . . . could it be any more perfect for this quilt?! Thank you so much for linking up with TGIFF today. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. I love stripes for binding, too. Mary Ellen Hopkins got me started on that probably 20 years ago, and I still like them. Yours is a perfect example of why! Thanks for sharing this many-possibiities quilt. The quilting on it is great, too.

  6. You have some beautiful quilts for sale. The log cabin really caught my eye as well as the 47" x 57" purple. You have quite the eye for putting great fabrics together.

  7. I just love simplicity and this is the perfect name for the quilt. I can't say I love doing so many HST's though!! Maybe over time..... If I did a few here and there.

    Great finish Myra. :-)
