My quilt top just came off the longarm and is still hanging on the rails, waiting to be bound. This black and white Hampton Court was quilted with a digital design called Crystal Ball in black thread. I chose black thread rather than white thread since the majority of the quilt top is black. The binding will likely be a scrappy mix of black/white prints.
Hampton Court includes 4 sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King - and is scrap and yardage friendly. This is a strip pieced quilt pattern, so you won't be sewing together individual bricks unless you really want to. Instructions include both strip piecing and traditional piecing.
Hampton Court is based in King Henry VIII's castle, Hampton Court, from the 1500s. The design with varying brick sizes can be found on the exterior of the castle.
