Fireworks Quilts in Cottage Cove by Connecting Threads!

Have you seen the new Cottage Cove fabric collection by Connecting Threads?  It is a beautiful red, white, and blue group of fabrics, including florals, ditties, tone-on-tones, and plaids.  

Today I'm sharing the Fireworks quilt pattern mocked up in Cottage Cove, with a special treat of two options for the background color - Navy and White!

Curate Your Own Fireworks Quilt Kit

The Fireworks pattern has not been kitted by Connecting Threads in Cottage Cove, but you can easily gather the fabrics you need!  Here is a list of what you'll need to make the Throw size at 64" x 80".  The fat quarters use are the same in both quilts, white and navy backgrounds; only the Binding fabric is different.

• Little Flare in Glacier FQ

• Stitches in Lt Crimson FQ (+ 5/8 yard for binding quilt with Navy background only)

The Fireworks fabric requirements for all quilts sizes is shown below, so you can easily curate the fabric for other quilt sizes.  There are 18 fabrics in the Cottage Cove collection.  I suggest leaving out Little Flare in Pale Crimson if using a White background.  For the larger sizes, double up your favorite prints, or fill in with your stash.  Remember to check out the wide backing in the Cottage Cove collection also!  It's cheaper than yardage and simpler to use.
