A tasty alternative to pan-fried hashbrowns! |
BACON HASH BROWN BAKE:
4 c grated cooked potatoes
12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c milk
1/3 c chopped onion (I used 1/6 c dried minced)
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t garlic powder
1 T butter, melted
1/2 t paprika
Combine first 7 ingredients. Put in greased 9-in pie plate. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 for 35-45 min until lightly browned.
Yield: 6-8 servings
Note: I left the bacon out, and it was lower fat but still yummy!
