Blogger's Quilt Festival - Fall 2015 - GRAVITY Quilt!

Twice a year during Quilt Market, Amy of Amy's Creative Side hosts the Blogger's Quilt Festival.  It's a fun way to see loads of amazing quilts!

If you're a new reader, Welcome!  I hope you follow via BlogLovin' and come back when you have more time!  I love rainbow quilts and also make a lot of custom quilts.

GRAVITY grabbed my attention last winter, and I simply could not resist making her!  Not finding a quilt along for it, I went out on a limb and hosted a GRAVITY Quilt Along on my blog.  GRAVITY is my entry in the ROYGBIV category.

The quilt was pieced by me and professionally quilted by Christa of Cotton Berry Quilts.  The quilting is stunning with the nine sets of two identical blocks quilted the same and the straight lines in the grays drawing the eye to the sparkling center star.

This quilt is for sale in my Etsy shop!

My other entry in the Blogger's Quilt Festival is my queen Postcard From Sweden quilt in the Large Quilts category.

Have fun touring the Blogger's Quilt Festival!

  2. Your backing fabric took me by surprise but it's lovely, as is the rest of your quilt. What a beautiful rainbow.
