Summer Solstice - The Rainbow Version!

You've seen my desperate amazing progress on Summer Solstice over the last week, and here she is!  Meet Summer Solstice - The Rainbow Version!





You can view the other finished quilts in the quilt parade at Happy Quilting today.

And this is the quilt with a white background, red sky and purple grass!  Fun to change it up with editing software!


Quilt Stats:
  • Pattern:  Summer Solstice Quilt Along, designed by Melissa at Happy Quilting.  Blocks are 24" square.
  • Modifications:  Sashings are 3", and three 3" borders were added.
  • Fabric:  Repurposed North and South Kit from Craftsy.
  • Size:  97" square
  • Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom Premium Black 80/20 (it's on sale right now!)
  • Quilting:  Allover medium meandering stitch in black thread on Mrs. Singer, my antique 31-15 mounted on a long-arm quilting frame.
  • Backing:  Kona Cotton extra wide in black.
  • Binding:  Kona Cotton Black, double fold, attached by machine.
