Finished or Not Friday {a Linky Party!} + Pastel Rainbow Wave Lap Quilt

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My Finish is a pastel Rainbow Wave quilt.  This quilt top and matching backing have been in my closet for at least three years, so I think it was time to finish it up.  It started out as a twin quilt but shrank so much when washed that it's now an oversized lap quilt.

Fabrics are a Kona New Pastel jelly roll and a white jelly roll.  I bound it with a Boundless white solid, and it matched the Kona perfectly.  This is the first time I've used Craftsy's Boundless solid fabrics.  It feels just like Kona cotton and will be my new go-to for background strips.

I remember being so excited to find this perfect backing, and I'm even more excited that it's finished!

The most viewed link from last week was this Postage Stamp quilt by Gretchen!

It's your turn to share your finish {or not}!  What's welcome at this party?
  • Any in-progress or finished project made with fabric, yarn, or thread is welcome!
  • Projects from this week only!
  • ♥ ♥ PLEASE!  Link to the actual blog post, not your home page.  We'd like to see your post and don't have the time to go hunt it down.
  • Include the Finished or Not Friday button or a text link that links back to this week's link-up in order to share the fun.  No, I won't delete your link if you don't, but hey, adding a link in your post is just being friendly, so be friendly and share!!
I will pin your links to my Finished or Not Friday Pinterest board to get your link more exposure.

  5. This is so lovely Myra! It's a lap quilt for tall people. My dad is 6 foot 7, so he definitely appreciates the longer ones. And a few years seems like the perfect marinating time to me.
