My Finish is a custom twin size triangle quilt and pillow sham set. My customer took her son's picture on a different fabric every month for his first two years, and this quilt set is made from those fabrics.
The triangles were cut with the this ruler, my favorite for cutting triangles of all sizes.
The backing is pieced from the scraps from the front with Kona Shadow, White, and Storm.
The matching pillow sham is made from smaller triangles, using this book for sizing information. The backing and border on the pillow sham are Kona Storm.

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful quilt! And it's nice to see what else I can do with that ruler. I'll have to give a triangle quilt another look!
ReplyDeleteWow that triangle quilt is really beautiful! I love how each triangle is split in half, it adds an extra level of interest. The backing is great too!

ReplyDeleteHi Myra,
ReplyDeleteI love this triangle quilt. I have just scheduled a tutorial about one, and am seriously considering making one next. I love the idea of the fabrics being from photos from each month. How darn adorable is that?! Thanks for sharing this today - it is motivating me.
