Welcome to Finished {or Not!} Friday where you can share what you're working on and see what others have been making!
My project to share is Home Awaits, kitted by Connecting Threads in Sweet Splendor!
Do you know how fun it is to see your quilt designs in a fabric catalog? I do! It's amazing!
The quilt kit is a queen size which uses a 10" square stack and a 2.5" strip roll. There are a few 10" squares that aren't used in the quilt top, so if there is a color you want to leave out or a color you want to emphasize, you can. It's all good!
Home Awaits comes in 6 sizes from Baby to King, including two Lap/Throw sizes. Click here to read more.
If you want the ease of this beautiful quilt kit, click here to view it at Connecting Threads.
I am currently working on two queen quilts that will be kitted by one of your favorite fabric companies as soon as I get the quilts back to them. Stay tuned on that!
Last Week's Finished {or Not} Friday Features!
Do you want your quilt featured here?
A link back to Busy Hands Quilts in your post is required to get a shoutout here! It's a small favor in return for the time and money it takes to host this linky party.Did you see all of the quilty goodness last week? It was hard to choose just a couple to feature.
Here's Churn Dash Court by Vicki!
And another string quilt by Gretchen!
It's your turn to share your finish {or not}! What's welcome at this party?

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Good things have been happening more and more in your quilty world!
ReplyDeleteHi Myra! What a beautiful quilt Home Awaits is. It really does let the fabrics sine, and it look so very inviting on the Connecting Threads picture. Makes me want to jump right in and snuggle under it. This would be the perfect quilt for my niece as she just adores all things purple. I'm going to send her your link and see what she thinks. The quilting looks lovely as well. Happy Friday!! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome!! Yay for you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That's a great pattern and I'm sure it will be greatly received. That churn dash block is a stunner. Look forward to your other two patterns.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Myra - that's a great pattern and sure to be a hit! How did I miss that beautiful churn dash? It's a great scrappy pattern to remember. Blessings,

ReplyDeleteThe backing sale at Connecting Threads is over. I don't know if you like to try other fabric shops, but www.quiltedtwins.com has backing fabric at great prices.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting your pattern in the catalog! That should help get the word around :-) It looks great.
