Domestic Bliss Baby Girl Quilt

I ♥ Domestic Bliss by Liz Scott for Moda!!  It's such a cheerful, happy collection!

Outdoor pictures accent a quilt's stitching much more than indoor pics.  I quilted this little lovely in straight lines on both sides of all seams.  Straight lines also made a really neat grid on the back, which is made from one of the rectangular fabrics you see in the quilt top.

Set on point is more effort than straight squares, but I ♥ the triangles along the edges.

The shopping cart has a story, you know.  When we purchased our property, it had a row of blackberry bushes 15 feet high, 30 feet wide, and 450 feet long {no exaggeration either!}.  Mr.Hearts demolished the huge overgrowth with his tractor and found this lovely shopping cart in the blackberry bushes.  I snagged it for the front porch as a memory of the blackberry bushes.

Looks great over the rainbow quilt that is on MY bed!

Here is a close-up of the scrappy binding - my favorite way to bind a quilt!
