Custom Scrappy Strip Quilt in Thimbleberries
Today I sewed the string blocks into sets of four and then hung them on my design wall to be sure colors are spread out well.  The black squares and cream sub pattern sure sparkle!  She is turning out beautifully and will be ready to quilt very soon!  Good thing I got Ooh La La off Mrs.Singer's rails, so she is all ready for her next project!
This quilt is a custom order from my Etsy shop, Busy Hands Quilts.

The Strings quilt turned out beautiful! I love the continuity of the black. Did you use paper for the background or a black square?

@ Happy Cottage Quilter - Thank you! I used 10" tissue paper squares from Missouri Star Quilt Co. They cost 4-cents a piece and don't require any precutting to get them to 10" square. The first black strip is attached with a lapel glue stick, which MSQC also sells. The tissue tears off quite easily.
