Needing a project that required no thinking, no planning, just grab and sew, I began my next custom quilt which is a queen-sized Barn Raising in a rainbow of medium and bright colors. Sometimes the brain just needs to sew strip after strip after strip. It's very therapeutic to me.
This quilt isn't due to my customer until late January, after I finish the king-sized custom Seahawks / Bronco quilt set which is currently being quilted, but I didn't feel like calculating and cutting the pieces for the coordinating pillow shams today.
Below is a queen-sized Barn Raising quilt I made as a custom order earlier this year.
