Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My Finish is a lap size giant daisy hexi quilt, made as a graduation gift for a young lady whom I babysat when she was kindergarten age! It's a happy quilt for a lovely, happy lady!
The quilt is made from half hexies, cut with my Accuquilt Go! cutter which I ♥♥! I pieced the quilt in strips from top to bottom rather than side to side so the rows could hang on the design wall after the row was pieced.
Quilt Stats:
Pattern: Hexies, cut with my Accuquilt Go! cutter
Size: Lap size, approx 50" x 70"
Fabric: Kona Cotton and Jennifer Paganelli prints
Quilting: Daisies in navy thread, done on Gratitude.
Batting: Hobbs Heirloom 100% Cotton
Backing: Jennifer Paganelli print
Craftsy is having a Summer Sale with up to 50% off quilt kits and supplies!
Kona Cotton Solids are 20% off as the Basic of the Month for July at Fat Quarter Shop, and ya rarely, if ever, find Kona Cotton for a lower price!

I snagged this Colonial Manor Stash Builder Bundle in black and cream. I bought the red and cream Colonial Manor bundle on the last sale and pulled it out today to use in the Christmas in July Quilt Along over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. So, of course, I needed to replenish the stash with this type of fabric since I have ZERO fabrics of this type. 'Cause of course I need to have it on hand for the next QAL that comes up!
Last week's featured project!
If you want your quilt featured here next week, be sure to put a link back to this post in your post or sidebar, or tag @busyhandsquilts on Instagram, AND link directly to your blog post so I don't have to hunt it down.
Congrats to Janice who won the box of scraps in last week's giveaway!! Follow the blog for your chance to win a box of scraps. I do not use scraps, so I collect them and give them away when the box is full.
But if you're looking for a current giveaway, Craftsy is giving away this Kaleidoscope quilt kit! I bought it last year and am repurposing it for a different quilt which is in progress but you haven't seen yet. Enter to win!

Love the giant hexies daisy quilt. So bright and cheerful too.
Love your hexie quilt, Myra. Oh the ease of the half hexagons vs. the y-seams of the regular hexagon. Beautiful fabrics--bright and cheery for someone. I'm an Accuquilt girl too.
Oh I love this quilt, it looks like giant summer flowers. I have been thinking of a big hexagon quilt for a while and yours has just pushed me over the edge. The colours are so vibrant, and I love the contrast, wonderful.
I have looked at the half hexie die before. It makes a cute quilt! The backing fabric goes perfectly with the flowers on the front.
The hexie quilt is so pretty and perfect, I love the fabrics, especially the backing. I have the die so your quilt has inspired me to finally use it. I know the lucky girl is going to love it. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful, happy quilt! Lucky graduate! I love the backing, too. Perfect complement to the front of the quilt. I'm envious of how much you get finished!
