Diamond Dance Pattern Release! | Finished or Not Friday Linky Party!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My Finish is a twin size Diamond Dance!  This is my newest pattern, made from mostly Miss Kate by Bonnie and Camille with a few other B&C collections thrown in, as well as Gooseberry by Vanessa Goertzen.

This pattern is a great use of both scraps, yardage, or a fabric collection.  Grab a dark accent and go!

Robert Kaufman Spot On Metro in crisp white and bold red were a perfect match.  I stock this wide backing in my pattern shop on Etsy.

Quilt Stats:

Pattern:  Diamond Dance
Size:  70" x 88"
Fabric:  Mostly Miss Kate by Bonnie and Camille, with other B&C collections and Gooseberry by Vanessa Goertzen.
Batting:  Hobbs Heirloom cotton/poly
Backing:  Robert Kaufman Spot On Metro in Red, available in my Etsy pattern shop.
Quilting:  Wandering Spirals in white thread on Gratitude.

Here is Diamond Dance in wall hanging size in Island Batik fabrics.  These fabrics were provided to me by Island Batik as part of their IB Ambassador program.

Diamond Dance includes 7 sizes from wall hanging to king and is Accuquilt friendly though specific instructions are not given for it.

Diamond Dance will be my first pattern to be released as a paper pattern shortly!  I'm jumping into the world of UPC symbols, bags, shipping, and wholesale distribution!

The bed sizes are made with bigger blocks so they go together faster than making a ton of smaller blocks!

GIVEAWAY WINNER!

Last Week's Feature!

Another fantastic quilt from last week is Flitter by Melissa at Happy Quilting!  This fabric and pattern came in the Sew Sampler Box for January.  If you love a surprise coming in the mail, you might just love a Sew Sampler Box subscription!  It's my favorite of the ones I've tried, and you can read my review here.

If you want your quilt featured here next week, be sure to put a link back to this post in your post or sidebar, or tag @busyhandsquilts on Instagram, AND link directly to your blog post so I don't have to hunt it down.

It's your turn to share your finish {or not}!  What's welcome at this party?
  • Any in-progress or finished project made with fabric, yarn, or thread.
  • Projects from this week only.
  • ♥ ♥ PLEASE!  Link to the actual blog post, not your home page.
  • LINK BACK with the Finished or Not Friday button or a text link.

To grab the code for the button below, left click in the box, press Ctrl-A for Select All, then Ctrl-C for Copy, then go to the HTML code for your post and press Ctrl-V to paste it where you want it to appear.

That is a gorgeous quilt! Of course having those beautiful fabric lines in your stash doesn't hurt either. I NEED these fabrics in my stash!

That's a beautiful pattern! I love that you can use scraps along with a couple of main fabrics. I'm marking it as a "want to do" when all my current projects are finished. Thank you!

My box arrived Monday, and I'm completely thrilled with it! These fabrics are wonderful, and will mix in with my more boring ones so nicely. Thank you!
