Waterfall quilt kits are finally ready! You asked for 'em, you've got 'em!
This is the first time dipping our feet into curating fabrics for quilt kits, and we're super excited to see the process come full circle; from purchasing fabrics, to the excitement of receiving the boxes, to cutting and packaging the fabric, all culminating in quilt kits ready for sale. We're a little nervous, too! We're just a small cottage business, my husband and I, so there are a very limited number of quilt kits available, so we encourage you to get yours right away.

Waterfall Quilt Design
The Waterfall quilt pattern has a stunning ombre colorwash effect created by two colorways in many hues from light to dark with a bold sashing accent and binding.
Waterfall is a log cabin quilt pattern, on point with unique setting and corner triangles that continue the design of the blocks clear out to the edges of the quilt.
Two Sizes
The Waterfall quilt pattern instructions includes two sizes - Throw and Queen - and both sizes are available as quilt kits. The first batch of Queen quilt kits has already sold out, and we're taking Preorders for the second batch we'll be cutting soon.
Longarm Quilting
This quilt is the Throw size, sewn by my sewist Joann, and quilted and bound by me. The digital quilting design is Curling Ribbons, done in medium blue thread on my HandiQuilter Fusion with ProStitcher. The design nicely resembles water and stitches out so nicely.
Quilt Kit Details
The Waterfall quilt pattern is not included in the quilt kit because so many of you have already purchased it. The quilt pattern can be purchased separately here.
The quilt kit includes all of the fabric for the quilt top and binding. Not included are backing, batting, thread, or labor 😀.
Coordinating wide backing is available in The Wide Back Shop here. The Throw would use a 2-yard cut and the Queen would use a 3-yard cut.
Wide Backing
The backing on this quilt is Widescreen in Black, available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop here. There are a number of backings in the shop that coordinate with the quilt kit very well.
An aqua wide back is expected to arrive at our studio any day and will be added to the shop upon arrival.
