Fat Quarter Shop's Snapshots Quilt-Along Block 1 Let Them Eat Cake has been released. I was able to finish it this afternoon with about 1/2 hour each for cutting and sewing. I'm using Miss Kate rather than Daysail because I have it in my stash. It works great because the colorways are nearly identical to Daysail. I'm sharing it with the family; it's hanging on the pantry door. My daughter doesn't eat sugar, so I told her it is sugar-free!
About halfway through sewing I realized that Kona Snow blends better than white, and I had used white! I think I am going to leave it and use white on the rest of the quilt top. Any thoughts?
