Wild Blooms Quilt Pattern in Market Street

I am so excited to share another new quilt design with you called Wild Blooms!  Wild Blooms is a beautiful quick and easy quilt pattern that's perfect for using up your precuts or scraps from your stash.

Wild Blooms is an octagon-spotted design I created that looks brilliant in a variety of color schemes.   I love the pops of color in this design, and the possibilities for fabric selection are endless!  Just use your imagination to create your very own awe-inspiring quilt.

Meet Wild Blooms

A quilt like Wild Blooms would make an excellent addition to any modern farmhouse-style home.  This Wild Blooms quilt was made in the Throw size, which measures approximately 54" x 72".  I just love the use of colors in this quilt to give it an extra flare!  I was so happy with how the first Wild Blooms quilt I made turned out, that I just had to make another!  And this quilt definitely did not disappoint.

Includes 7 Sizes and Precut Friendly!

I love spoiling you with options!  Wild Blooms includes 7 sizes for you to work with including - Baby, Lap, Throw, Twin, Full, Queen, and King.  This will hopefully keep you busy for a while!  😅  With this pattern, you can use 5" squares, 10" squares, or fat quarters to create your own unique piece.

Stunning Fabric

I made this Wild Blooms quilt using a layer cake of the Market Street fabric collection created by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs.  This is a lovely fabric collection with florals, geometrics, and ditties in red, navy, teal, green, peach, and yellows.  You can purchase the Market Street fabric collection right here.

The backing fabric is a wide back by Lori Holt called Bandana in Honey, available right here in my shop.

This quilt top was made by Kare Ybarra.

This quilt was quilted on my new Handi Quilter Amara longarm that I named Gratitude using a leaf and flower design in cream thread.

Oh, What Beautiful Fabric + Quilt Kits!

I made Wild Blooms in the Throw size using the Autumn Afternoon fabric collection created by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs.  This lovely fall-inspired collection incorporates an assortment of flower clusters, tossed pumpkins, plaids and more on a backdrop of vibrant and rich colors.  For the background fabric, I used a neutral print from the collection.  It has a variety of colorful dots on a soothing cream background.  It is so fun to use a print as the background fabric instead of the typical white, cream, gray, or black!  :)

Longarm Machine Quilting

Well, I finally got to try out my new Handi Quilter Amara longarm!  I appreciate her so much that I gave her the same name that my previous longarm had - Gratitude!  This quilt was quilted with an elegant clover design in cream thread.

Mountain Peaks Quilt Kits in Watercolor | Purples and Blues Available!

This week I have curated Mountain Peaks quilt kits for you, available in two different colorways - purples and blues!  Both quilt kits are made in the Throw size from the Mixed Watercolor Texture from the Color Stories by Stephanie Ryan Collection by P & B Textiles.  These fabrics have so much texture and depth, which helps allow your quilts to stand out!

Mountain Peaks is a multi-sized log cabin quilt pattern with unique setting triangles to finish the design clear out to the edge.  The quilt pattern includes 4 sizes - Baby, Throw, Queen, and King.

The quilt kit includes all fabrics for the quilt top and binding.  Batting, backing, and thread are not included.  These quilts finish at 58" x 78".

Mountain Peaks is a stunning log cabin design with sashing strips that create an ombre colorwash that just draws you in with its beauty.  4-1/2 yards in 5 prints are from the Mixed Watercolor Texture and 2-1/8 yards are from Kona Cotton White.
