A Note About These Dates:
Life happens, and this schedule is flexible and therefore open to change at my discretion. I am very busy in the summer. My goal is to have the quilt completed before Thanksgiving!
I have scheduled the Quilt Along to begin in the middle of April to allow extra time for gathering supplies. Preorders of the GRAVITY kit are not shipping to Canada until April, so this gives our northern friends time to receive it and have an opportunity to be on schedule for prizes. If not, hopefully they'll catch up with Block 2.
Each assignment includes making two identical blocks in two different colorways. Two weeks are scheduled for each set of blocks.

This is a BIG quilt, so assembling the quilt top is given four weeks. The final step of quilting and binding is given eight weeks since most of us will send our quilt out to be quilted professionally. I plan to reserve a spot on my quilter's schedule to be sure she can fit it in, and you may consider doing this as well. Your quilt will be finished before Thanksgiving!
The final linky party for finished quilts ends on November 20, 2015. Only finished quilts (quilted and bound) will be entered in the Grand Prize drawing which is a $100 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop, along with some other goodies.

On the dates above, I will post tips, pictures, and links from other sites for completing the assignment. That post will include a link-up where you can post your progress for that step. It is NOT expected that you have the assignment complete on the day of the post. All link-ups will be open until the Quilt Along ends; HOWEVER, in order to qualify for the prize giveaways, you must link your completed step to the current link-up before the next step is posted.

Looks like you're doing a great job organizing your quilt-a-long. Just wanted to encourage you even though I won't be participating. I will be following along with your posts though!
I am so excited about this quilt-along and can hardly wait until the shop ships my kit (Canada - late April).
