On my design wall is a lap quilt for the Hands 2 Help Quilt Challenge 2015. I love pulling fabrics from my stash to see what plays well together. This quilt began with the light yellow and pink floral print and grew from there. The blocks are 20" square with various width strips, laid out like a rail fence quilt. It will be nearly 60" x 80" when finished. The backing will be a Jennifer Paganelli print in light aqua with a yellow design.
This quilt will be donated to the Layers of Hope - Quilting 911 which gives quilts to 911 dispatchers and their families. It's about sharing love with our unseen heroes.

Love the scrappy rail fence blocks. So nice to see them with the different widths. My Hands2Help quilt is also on my design wall.
I was just thinking the same thing as Jasmine - I like the different widths too!
What pretty fabrics for a rail fence!
This is a very cheerful quilt and will certainly make the recipient smile. I love that you were able to pull from your stash.
It's a really sweet, simple quilt and is going to a great cause.
Very nice quilt! What a wonderful cause--thanks for bringing it to my attention. My goal is to use fabric from my stash as much as possible.
I see your handy work on Cook up Quilts blog and I am naturally drawn to the scrappy look. Did you use a patterns or tutorial for inspiration?
Oh I love those fabrics. I don't think I've seen them before, but they work so well together. You're very kind making quilts to give as gifts. Thank you for linking up with Sew Cute Tuesday.
This quilt is very pretty. The fabrics look so soft that someone would love to wrap up in this quilt. The H2H challenge is an awesome charity program. You are amazing for giving from the heart to others.
