April 13, 2017 Quilt Top Assembly
May 4, 2017 Finished Quilts!
There are two weeks between the first four steps and three weeks for the quilting step because we all have busy lives, plus I'm making a king size so I need the time! Link-ups will close at 5:00 PM Pacific time on the Wednesday before the next step of the quilt along.
Prizes!
All link-up parties in the Postcard From Sweden QAL will include a prize for one qualifying random entry in the form of a PDF pattern from my Pattern Shop!
Fabric Selection
You are free to use any fabrics for the Postcard From Sweden Quilt Along. Your quilt does not have to be made in the colors of the original pattern. As long as your quilt is all HSTs and measures at least 40" square, it's eligible for prizes. Go HERE for ideas on fabric selection.

Link-Up Your Cut Fabrics
Today's link-up is for the Cutting step. It might be squares if you're using the two-at-a-time method, or it might be triangles if you're cutting squares in half or using an Accuquilt fabric cutter. Show us your delicious fabrics cut and ready to sew!
Here's mine! The stack is over 10" tall with 600 - 6" finished half triangles cut with my Accuquilt. I wouldn't make a quilt this size without this cutter.
Link up your cut fabrics here. This link-up closes on Wednesday, March 15th at 5:00 PM Pacific time.

Looks like fun. I think this is a good time for me to use up my solid fabrics and make it scrappy.
This looks like so much fun!!! Can't wait to see the progress.
Guess it's time to get moving on this.
Perfect time to use up my solids.
Help! I know the quilt along is over, but life got in the way. I am very nervous about cutting the squares in half because of the stretching of the bias. Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent stretching?
Thanks!
Michele
