Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My Finish is a custom king size Postcard From Sweden quilt! I realized this week that I hadn't posted pictures of my quilt at the end of the Quilt Along.
My customer ordered matching shams, and I made them identical to each other. The back has an envelope opening and is made with Kona Citrus, as is the binding. I used my favorite . quilt . book . ever, Shams With Style, for sizing.
Quilt Stats:
Pattern: Postcard From Sweden, blocks enlarged to 6" finished HSTs with rows and columns added.
Size: King size, 114" x 102"
Fabric: Kona Cotton
Quilting: Custom hourglass design in gray thread, done on Gratitude.
Batting: Hobbs Heirloom Cotton
Backing and Binding: Kona Citrus

Last week's featured project!
Sea Sick by Katy Quilts! I love this picture on the bed with the headboard and all the room details. It looks like a magazine photo op!

Lovely colourful finishes! Wavy quilting is my favourite. Thank You for hosting!

Oh, that is so pretty on the bed! I think the citrus is the best color I've seen yet for the binding.
Looks like this party will be an elephant parade. The postcard quilt is very bright and happy looking. Thanks for the party.
So big and beautiful. I love the wavy quilting design.
It's beautiful!! Sadly, my blocks are still sitting on my design wall waiting to be pieced. Things are now settling down at work, so hoping to get this finished in the next several weeks.
Wow, that's a *lot* of color! I'm sure your customer is thrilled. Love the Citrus backing!
I had to come see it bigger than on IG. So bright and beautiful! @gingerkwilt
What a bright, cheery quilt! Thanks for sharing on Midweek Makers!
Love the postcard quilt!
what a wonderful quilt still avoid solids though as my quilting is not very good
What a beautiful quilt! Would you mind sharing which colors you used to expand the quilt to king size? I've made it as a twin and would love to make a bigger one, but I'm scared of putting the colors in the wrong place. You did a great job in choosing where they should go.
I too am wondering what colors you chose for the extra rows/columns and how much of each color you need.
