Night Sky - An Upcoming Quilt Pattern | Finished {or Not!} Friday Linky Party!

Welcome to Finished {or Not!} Friday where you can share what you're working on and see what others have been making!

On my design wall is a new quilt pattern called Night Sky.  There are stars in the background and in the blocks, and sometimes my eyes can't see the dark blue stars.  Isn't that kinda strange?  This pattern includes two sizes - throw and queen - and the size difference is made from the size of the blocks.  Look for this new quilt pattern in May.

Fabric is Aria by Kate Spain for Moda Fabrics.  Click here to read more.

For more quilty goodness, you can feast your eyes on this batch of delight.  It's a fat quarter bundle of Peppered Cotton by Studio E with black and grays in Manchester by Robert Kaufman.  Both fabrics have the softest hand, and this quilt will be snuggly cozy for sure.  I'm making a throw size quilt to test a new quilt pattern called Winter Solstice that I'm writing for a fabric company.  You will see this quilt pattern in a similar queen size quilt kit in your favorite quilting magazine in November.  So you'll only be getting sneaky peeks because it's #secretsaucesewing!

  1. Lovely Night Sky, and I'm like you, second stars, the dark one, sometimes disappear!
