Jelly Roll Waves Quilt Along | Making Blocks

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Over the next two weeks we'll be making half of the required number of blocks for the size of quilt we're making.

The winner from the Fabric Selection linkup is Nic, who received a $15 gift certificate to my pattern shop.

Because the link-ups end only at noon and the next post comes out at noon {I can't figure out how to make them end at a different hour}, the winners of giveaways will be announced at the next link-up.  The random winner from the previous Fabric Cutting link-up will be announced on July 30th.

This here's the schedule.  Each post will be at noon:
  • July 2 - Fabric Selection - Link-up open for one week.
  • July 9 - Fabric Cutting - Link-up open for one week.
  • July 16 - Half of the blocks - Link-up open for two weeks.
  • July 30 - Half of the blocks - Link-up open for two weeks.
  • August 13 - Quilt Tops - Link-up open for two weeks.
  • August 27 - Finished Quilt Parade - Link-up open for four weeks.

Jelly Roll Waves Half of the Blocks

Over the next two weeks, make half of the total number of blocks you need.  Below are half of my blocks.  They are strip pieced.

It's your turn to share your blocks!  Please do not give away piece measurements with your pictures.   If you are still cutting fabrics, you can post your selections here, but only entries of blocks will be entered in the giveaway drawing.  This link-up will be open through noon pacific time on July 30th.

If you need help with linking up, Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs wrote a detailed blog post on this very subject.  Hop on over here to read it.

This link-up is only for the JELLY ROLL WAVES QUILT ALONG.  Do not enter Finished {or Not!} Friday posts here, please.  They will be deleted.
You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Congrats Nic! And I love your reverse color choice. I saw the fabrics and wondered what you were up to, but I love how it looks now that they're being sewn together! Off to start sewing...I think...it's been a long day!

Congrats to Nic. I am getting caught up on cutting, then sewing half of the blocks.

I love your use of the low-volume Alison Glass fabrics. Can't wait to see the full reveal of this project!
