This Nautical News Twin quilt was made by my niece when she was 12.  She cut all of the fabric and sewed it up by herself, and then I quilted it for her with Wandering Spirals.  Didn't she do a lovely job?!

I ♥ to figure out how to make quilt patterns into rainbows, and it was oh . so . easy with Nautical News.  Every square is a different Kona Cotton Solid.

This was my very first Nautical News, made as a custom order for Andrea, and using those directional fabrics made me realize the pattern needed directions for using directional fabrics, and it's in there!  This quilt was made before I had a computerized longarm, so the quilting is organic wavy stitching.
