I'm participating in the Patchwork Prism Quilt Along, and here is a peek at my project. I am using mostly Annie's Farm Stand fabrics. The quilt is much larger in size than I had imagined it from the original picture on the pattern. I could have made it smaller by using smaller pieces but didn't read that part of the instructions until I was over half done cutting! {Note to self: Read quilt size and quilt along instructions before beginning!} To give you some perspective, each triangle is about 8" tall. There are about 200 pieces in this quilt, all cut with a template! I have never made a quilt from templates before, but it is going surprisingly well, at least I think so ... I haven't started sewing any of them together yet, so hopefully they fit together nicely!
And now you know why things have been so quiet here on the blog!
The pattern was designed by Anna Marie Horner, and the quilt along has some fabulous prizes! I'm hoping for the sewing machine!
