Breath of Fire Zig Zag Quilt Top is Finished!

Second in line for Mrs.Singer's rails is this wild oversized lap quilt!  Does it remind you of a certain motorcycle??  It will be awesome in a man's den or a boy's cave!

My first-ever zig zag quilt was fun to make!  I used the strip piecing pattern rather than half-square triangles.  I plan to do an all-over meandering stitch on her him even though she he is screaming straight-line quilting, because the quilt top is just too big for this girl to tackle on Mrs.Bernina and is much better suited to Mrs.Singer's long-arm rails.  Do you know of a guy who would care about the way its quilted anyway?

Found the perfect backing at Marie Madeline Studio's recent Birthday Bash Sale!  I just love the Long Ladies and their fabric shop!  These talented ladies have designed the cutest skirt and dress patterns and stock the freshest fabrics!  This wild and crazy fabric is Lauralee in Orange from the Superfly collection by Jennifer Paganelli.  HOT!

This quilt will be for sale in due time in my Etsy shop, Busy Hands Quilts!  I'll keep you posted!
