Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My Finish is a pastel Rainbow Wave quilt. This quilt top and matching backing have been in my closet for at least three years, so I think it was time to finish it up. It started out as a twin quilt but shrank so much when washed that it's now an oversized lap quilt.
I remember being so excited to find this perfect backing, and I'm even more excited that it's finished!
It's your turn to share your finish {or not}! What's welcome at this party?

Fabrics are a Kona New Pastel jelly roll and a white jelly roll. I bound it with a Boundless white solid, and it matched the Kona perfectly. This is the first time I've used Craftsy's Boundless solid fabrics. It feels just like Kona cotton and will be my new go-to for background strips.

How exciting, my postage stamp quilt was most viewed! I do hope to get her quilted this month. Blessings, villacrestfarm@gmail.com
Wow that was a lot of shrinking - but what a cute quilt!
Your pastel rainbow quilt is beautiful. Such lovely colors - makes my heart ache for spring. I am sure it will inspire many quilters to make one.

That turned out beautifully and I love the backing too.
This is so lovely Myra! It's a lap quilt for tall people. My dad is 6 foot 7, so he definitely appreciates the longer ones. And a few years seems like the perfect marinating time to me.
This quilt is so pretty! Too bad it shrunk so much, I try to alot for 5% when making bed sized quilts. I love the soft rainbow of colors.
Rainbow Wave is so pretty with the subdued colors - shines with gentle happiness!
Myra, I just love this quilt! I confess to being a rainbow junkie and the soft look of your colors is unique and wonderful. (Do you remember what the fabrics were?) Thanks so much for sharing--and for digging it out of your closet for us :)
Lovely pastel rainbow!
That is a great backing for this quilt. Congrats on the finish.
I love the beautiful rainbow colors. Love the quilt.
It's a beautiful finish! It's a shame it shrunk so much, but lap quilts are wonderful too :)
