Today I'm sharing a Primrose quilt pattern with a sweet mint background and bright bold florals. This traditional 9-Patch pattern includes 9 sizes and two piecing options - traditional and strip piecing.

Stunning Floral Fabrics
These prints are from the Faraway Florals fabric collection by Robert Kaufman. There are large and small florals in pinks, teals, oranges, yellows, reds, and navy. So much sweetness here!

Two Methods of Block Piecing - Traditional Piecing and Strip Piecing
This quilt was made with the Strip Piecing method of piecing, because I am a strip piecer at heart ♥. I figured out the math to make jelly roll strips work for the 9-Patch block, and it's all included in the pattern for you, along with 9 sizes!

Longarm Machine Quilting
The quilting design on this quilt is Ribbon Curls, a design I've used many times because it is so versatile and creates a soft quilt. Quilted on my Handi Quilter Amara with ProStitcher.
The backing is a combination of two Color Stories Watercolor prints in light violet and dark violet. I didn't have any yardage from the collection, so I used these prints in my stash. The binding is made from leftover strips from the roll-up.
