Gorgeous quilt! I'm so happy you showed a close up of the quilting. I was squinting to see till I got to that pic. You know how some people just have to see (and touch) everything? Yeah, that's me. lol I've been told a few times to keep my hands to myself. Finally, I know to answer, "I'm a tactile learner." Somehow that works!
Do you use a specific type of thread for your piecing and your quilting? Do you have a favorite brand of batting? I think your quilts are lovely.
@ Cyndiofthevortex - Thank you! I use Connecting Threads Essential Pro polyester thread for almost all of my sewing and quilting. It doesn't seem to break as much as cotton does, it is a great price, and it also goes on sale on a fairly regular basis.
For batting I use 100% cotton on the rolls from JoAnn's. On sale for $99 it costs about $10 per queen-sized quilt. I don't ever buy it for the $275 regular price!!
