WIP: Triangle Quilt Wall Hanging
This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!
On the design wall today is the triangle wall hanging which I plan to place in the newly renovated guest bathroom. I'm aiming for 33-36" square so hopefully it ends up close after all of the seams are sewn together. A few more rows need added to the top/bottom.
In looking at this picture, I see there are a few changes that need made. Stepping away from the pieces and looking at them in different light at varying times of the day or through a camera lens often shows where block placement could be improved. There are a few diamonds, two parallelograms, and a hexagon made from two fabrics, all of which are intentional. I am avoiding white next to black because they look like raccoon eyes. The lightest gray looks nearly white in this picture.
The triangles have self-destructive tendencies and are thinking about jumping off, so I'll have to get them sewn together very soon!
The 25% off sale continues at my fabric shop, Cut Sew Create, and most quilts are 20% off in my quilt shop, Busy Hands Quilts!
Every dollar in quilt and fabric sales and affiliate links helps us pay for our daughter's vision therapy, a $4,000 bill. Thank you for your support!
