Custom Twin Size HST Quilt {Progress #2}

My custom twin HST quilt top is coming right along!  The design wall is filled to capacity.  There are six columns of blocks that don't fit on it.  With the number of bed size quilts I've been making, a larger design wall would be a big help.  The blocks are sewn together into columns, and I'm hanging them on the design wall to make sure similar fabrics are spread out evenly.  After uploading these pictures, I can see there are a few changes I need to make.
This is one of those quilt tops that is prettier in person than in the pictures - it is beautiful!  My customer did a great job in choosing fabrics for her daughter's monthly 0-24 month pictures.  Those fabrics are the 24 prints in this quilt.  The prints are paired with crisp Kona White, purchased at Craftsy, where Kona fabrics are always a great price!
I used this method to create 8 half-square triangles at a time.  I'm finding this is a really efficient method, and as long as I pin generously and sew very carefully, the HSTs don't need trimmed other than dog ears - a major time-saver.  I trimmed ZERO of the 264 HSTs in this quilt!  {The points will match accurately once all columns are sewn together.}
This quilt is a custom order in my Etsy shop, Busy Hands Quilts.

This is absolutely beautiful and so simple with the HST. Lots of them, but I still love making them. Love all of these colors blended together.

It's so lovely, and very much like the one I'll be making for my son with that Kona solid bundle I'm using. What a time saver to not have to trim your HSTs!! Looking forward to the finish. Thanks for linking up to MCM! :)
