Blogger's Quilt Festival {Brick Cottage Lane ♥ Scrappy Quilt Category}

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Fall is here, and it's time for The Blogger's Quilt Festival at Amy's Creative Side!  I'm entering Brick Cottage Lane into the Scrappy Category of the Festival.  This quilt is a twin size.  I made six coordinating valances for my living room windows which you can view on this page.

This quilt is made from a variety of fabrics from Bonnie and Camille lines, Gooseberry, and other prints from my scrap bin.  The backing and binding are the delicious extra wide red check from the Vintage Picnic line by Bonnie and Camille.  I quilted Brick Cottage Lane on Mrs.Singer, my antique 31-15 mounted on a long-arm quilting frame.  She has a patent date of 1896 and could have been made as recently as 1930.

You can nominate your favorite three quilts for the Viewer's Choice Awards HERE.

I am entering Brick Cottage Lane {2}, not to be confused with Brick Cottage Lane (they are different quilts), in the Large Quilt Category of The Blogger's Quilt Festival.  I invite you to go on over and check her out, too!

I'd also like to invite you to join me every Friday here on my blog for Finished Or Not Friday, where we share our finished {or not!} projects! Follow Busy Hands Quilts via BlogLovin' as a reminder to link up!

What a fun quilt. Did you make this in blocks or sew the bricks together and then sew strips? As I look at this quilt I imagine that getting those bricks lined up could be difficult.
