Finished or Not Friday {a Linky Party!} + Custom Quilting + A New Pattern!

This post may contain affiliate links. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!

My finish to share this week is quilting and binding this Sea Creatures baby/toddler quilt for Andrea!  The quilting is a wavy stitch to complement the sea theme, done with a walking foot.

The quilt is 53" square and is made with the In the Ocean fabric collection by Riley Blake.  Binding is Kona Cotton Royal.

I'm releasing a new pattern in a few weeks, and these soothing green and blue HSTs with the navy blue background will be a twin size quilt in the new pattern. This time I remembered to use my Accuquilt Go! which makes cutting a breeze, and the best part - NO trimming after sewing them together!  When cutting the HSTs for the Summer Solstice QAL, I forgot to use the cutter, and that meant I had to trim 216 HSTs!  Set aside $12 or so per week, and you can get yourself one in November on Accuquilt's Black Friday sale - this year, not next!!

The fabric is a collection of Boundless Blenders called Coastal Escape, exclusive to Craftsy.  The navy background fabric is also from the Boundless Blenders collection.

One of the great features of my Falling Stars pattern is the bigger the quilt, the larger the HSTs get so the bed sizes don't take so long to make!  I include as many sizes as possible in my patterns, and this one will have 6 sizes from baby to king, including a small and a large lap size since people like different sizes.

And in other Craftsy news, all classes are $19.99 or less this weekend!

Last week's most viewed link was this adorable wall hanging by Teje at Nero's Post III!

It's your turn to share your finish {or not}!  What's welcome at this party?  Any in-progress or finished project made with fabric, yarn, or thread is welcome!  Include the Finished or Not Friday button or a text link that links back to this week's link-up in order to share the fun.  No, I won't delete your link if you don't, but hey, adding a link in your post is just being friendly, so be friendly and share!!

I will pin your links to my Finished or Not Friday Pinterest board to get your link more exposure.

Boundless blenders are looking good! The ocean quilt is nice, especially with the blue binding.

Your sea critters quilt is just darling! I really like the machine wavy lines quilting. My machine skips stitches like crazy when I do that, alas. Something about the combo of walking foot and sideways motion. Must be like chewing gum while patting your head for my poor Kenmore!
