Welcome to Finished or Not Friday where you can share your finished {or not} projects!
My finish is Sunrise Over the Horizon, a twin sized quilt made with ombre fabrics and Kona Iron. I love the way it sparkles and dances in the light. I'm digging ombres these days, so keep reading to learn about my Trip Around the World Quilt Along - I'm using ombres!
Quilting is an organic wavy stitch on Mrs.Singer, my antique 31-15 mounted on a long-arm quilting frame. Backing is a modern Robert Kaufman Widescreen in gray on white. This quilt is for sale in my Etsy shop.
This quilt was inspired by a quilt at Ida Rather Be Quilting.
Featured from last week's linky is this super sweet Checkmate quilt in Gooseberry by Silly Mama Quilts.
The winner of last week's scrap pile is Amy B! I've emailed you.
Oh my gracious, Craftsy is having a sale of sales! There are so many gorgeous new quilt kits! It's so hard to resist beauties like this Stained Glass Spectrum Quilt! And this Solar Flare Quilt! And this Elephant is fantastic, too! My finish is Sunrise Over the Horizon, a twin sized quilt made with ombre fabrics and Kona Iron. I love the way it sparkles and dances in the light. Your name for this quilt is perfect. It looks like a sunset over a grassy hill. I think the wavy quilting adds a lot of texture too. Nice finish!
