April 2017 Blog and Stash Review

April has been a productive month in my quilting studio, having finished 7 quilts, three of which I haven't blogged about yet.  One king, one twin, two laps, and three baby quilts.

First up is a Jelly Roll Waves lap quilt in blues and aquas.

Then a Monopoly lap quilt for the Hands2Help quilt drive.

A king size Brick Cottage Lane {2} in Simply Color and Kona gray.

And a twin size Oh My Darling in Fresh Cut by Moda.

Also finished are three baby quilts that I used to practice digital edge-to-edge wavy lines which I will use as the quilting on the custom king size Postcard From Sweden quilt which simply must get quilted this week.  I'll post pictures of those quilts soon.

April 2017

Finished Quilts:  7

Custom Quilting:  0

Fabric In:  51.63 yards

Fabric Out:  (59.2 yards)

Net for 2017:  (45.43 yards)

I set what I thought was a ridiculous goal of reducing my stash by 200 yards in 2017, but I see that I am just about running at the pace needed to complete this by December 31st!  Yeah for using the stash!

You're doing great using up that stash! And you've completed so much this month. Yay! I think your new machine is helping with your goals.

Love your blue/aqua jelly roll waves! In the smaller photo on the sidebar, it actually looks like it's 3D!

And, congratulations on your finishes in April and your use of stash!

I love the way combination of the colors and the quilting that makes it look like clouds being blown by the wind. Beautiful!
